The City of Phoenix is conducting extensive roadwork on 32nd Street that will impact drop-off and pick up over the next few months. Here is what we know:

8/6/2021. UPDATE!

After an “emergency meeting” with reps from the construction company. They reiterated that their primary concern is the safety of our students/parents and faculty & staff.

Construction officials acknowledged that our current routes/pattern we have in place are the best possible and nothing needs to change.

However, traffic is backing-up worse than expected. They are looking into the availability to place additional police officers on 32nd St. in order to have more manually controlled traffic lights.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The construction officials are asking that our parents/guardians, please not park at the church or public park across the street and walk their children across 32nd St. They have monitored the area and see many making this crossing without using the crosswalk on Acoma.

Drop-Off Plan

All families are to enter the campus from 32nd Street at the NORTHERN-most entrance.  There are signs posted indicating ‘No Left Turn’ into the campus from 32nd Street between the hours of 7 – 9 am.  Families need to travel SOUTHBOUND on 32nd Street, turning right onto campus.  Once in the parking lot, please follow the cones, stenciling, signs, and the faculty/volunteers who will be directing the traffic.  THE HEARN STREET ENTRANCE WILL BE CLOSED.

All cars will EXIT SOUTHBOUND onto 32nd Street as there are ‘Right Turn Only’ signs in place for this.

Pick-Up Plan

Traffic flow is the same as the drop-off procedures.  The timing of dismissal is as follows:  K – 6th graders, dismissal begins at 3:00 pm.  If your eldest are Prep students and you are doing Prep sibling pick up, please do not arrive until 3:25 pm and follow the traffic flow to the Prep side for pick up.  This will help with the congestion and traffic flow.

All cars will EXIT SOUTHBOUND onto 32nd Street as there are ‘Right Turn Only’ signs in place for this.

Please do not use The Elks Lodge parking lot to park and/or drop-off/pick-up your students without proper authorization from The Elks Lodge.  There is ‘No Parking’ along Hearn Street and the adjoining neighborhood streets.  Please honor the signs posted.

Please do not park in the Student Parking spaces located in the northwest corner of the property.  These spaces are provided to student drivers who have paid for these spots.  They are numbered and designated signs are posted.

ANP does not provide bus transportation to/from school. We can provide full fare tokens or discounted student passes for the city buses. Subsidized bus fare is also available by request. Requests must be made in writing to the Office Manager, Mrs. Maryanne English.
