Ms. Drummond was raised in Phoenix, Arizona and attended Madison Number 1 and Camelback High School. She graduated with a BA degree from the University of Arizona where she was in the Chi Omega Sorority. BEAR DOWN ARIZONA! She met my husband at the University and moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan where he was from. They had two children, Matthew and Lindsay and lived there about 11 years and then moved to Peachtree City, Georgia. Ms. Drummond lived there about 9 years and LOVED the city! They drove around in golf carts and played a lot of tennis and golf. From there they moved to Katy, Texas. Once their kids went off to college at Texas Tech. They moved back to their home town of Phoenix, Arizona where her father and brother and their families live. It was great to be around family again. Ms. Drummond’s children now live in Houston, Texas and Fayetteville, Arkansas. Her son has two boys, Everett who just turned 4 and Cohen who will be 2 July 30th. Her daughter lives in Arkansas and has a daughter, Olivia who is 2.
Ms. Drummond taught over 20 years Pre-school – 12th grade. Her passion is to teach reading. She enjoys teaching struggling students to read. Reading touches all aspects of a students life. Reading a good book can take you places you may never get to go in person.
When she is not working, she loves to read murder mysteries, watercolor paint, play golf, go to the movies, watch movies on TV, hang out with my family and friends. She LOVES all animals and feed the birds daily in her back yard. The quail families are her favorite to watch. She only has one calico cat named Zoey at this time. She loves life and finds laughter great for the soul. Teaching has been her life and it has been a great life!
